Annu K. Domun - Associate

Annu joined Banymandhub-Boolell Chambers in January 2006. She graduated from the University of Mauritius with an LLB (Honours) in 2003 and successfully completed her Bar Vocational Examinations at the Council of Legal education in Mauritius and was called to the Mauritian Bar in January 2006. In 2007, Annu obtained a “Maitrise en Droit des Affaires” from Paris I La Sorbonne University, France and in 2009 she completed a Masters degree in “Droit International Economique” from the same University in France. Annu has previously been a part time lecturer at the university of Mauritius where she has lectured Company Law to MBA students, Droit des sociétés to Law and Management students and Commercial contracts to students of Finance with Law.

Latasha Bissessur - Team Leader

Latasha is a Barrister-at-Law and is with the Temple Group since April 2009. She did a LLB and a LLM in International and Commercial Law at the University of Buckingham, United Kingdom. Latasha was called to Bar of England and Wales at the Middle temple. She also did a postgraduate diploma on professional and legal skills at the City University, United Kingdom. Latasha provides litigation support of the highest standard in common area of practice such as labour law, contract and commercial law, injunctions, intellectual property law and property law cases. Besides providing comprehensive support in the structuring, setting up and organisation of corporate structure, Latasha also drafts and inspects corporate and contractual agreements.

Sapna Dwarka - Senior Legal Executive

Sapna holds an LLB (Hons.) from the University of Mauritius and an LLM (International Financial Law) from the University of Manchester. Sapna is experienced in company law, corporate reorganizations, insolvency law and intellectual property law. She has afforded professional guidance to clients operating in the insurance sector, construction industry and management companies. Being a registered trainer with the MQA, Sapna has been involved in the delivery of courses in legal fields, such as contract law and employment law.
Sapna has previously worked at Moore Stephens, KPMG in Mauritius, and in the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court.

Shailesh Nunhuck - Senior Legal Executive

Shailesh joined Banymandhub Boolell Chambers in 2006. He is the holder of a Bachelor degree, Licence Mention Droit from the Facultés des Droit et des Sciences Economiques of Montpellier. His main area of expertise is civil law and as a legal executive, he has provided extensive research support on insurance, succession, employment and commercial matters to both the Litigation and the Corporate Department. He has also been involved in drafting and reviewing legal documents in French, as well as conducting legal translation.
Shailesh currently heads the Research and Development Department within the Chambers.

Smita Bhujohory - Legal Executive

Smita joined Banymandhub Boolell Chambers in 2012. She is experienced in Company Law, Bankruptcy, Construction law, Labour law, Contract and Commercial Law, Family Law and Real Estate. She holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom and completed her Bar Vocational Course at Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in October 2010 at the Honorable Society of Middle Temple and was called to the Mauritian Bar in January 2012.

Poonam Geemul - Legal Executive

Poonam joined the Chambers in August 2011. She holds an LLB (Hons.) from the University of Mauritius and an LLM (International Criminal Law and Security) from the University of Northampton. Poonam advises clients on matters relating to company law, intellectual property law, employment issues and ongoing business operations. She has previously done a six months internship at the Appeals Chambers at the International Criminal Court in the Hague.

Archana Gunness - Legal Executive

Archana is a Barrister-at-Law and is with the temple Group since September 2011. She did an LLB at the University of Bristol and did her Bar at BPP Law School, London. Archana was called to the Bar in October 2010 at Lincoln’s inn. Archana was called to the Mauritian Bar in January 2012. Archana advises clients on matters relating to labour law, corporate law and environmental law amongst others.
